There are a number of activities that can to be performed by your system administrator to ensure that the rostrvm system is running normally.   Tasks can be configured to detect and report on unusual behaviour, and utilities are provided to diagnose any problems that may have occurred.

Key system activities include the following:

The ability to view your real-time information about your system (such as licence details, an audit trail of administration changes).
The ability to set up and view system notifications based on recorded MIS data in the rostrvm database.
The ability to view and download system log and trace files (these will be required for analysis by Rostrvm Solutions should system issues occur).
Options to schedule the execution of any existing historic reports, and utilities to allow bespoke reports to be managed and created.
Access to install various rostrvm client applications and libraries to your local PC.

 

There are other functions relating to the administration and monitoring of your rostrvm system.  These are regarded as System Manager functions and as such are handled through the System Control pages.  These allow the system manager to start, stop, monitor and maintain your rostrvm system.


Menu Options

The System menu provides access to a number of administration screens and MIS reports relating to your rostrvm system:

Announcements - allows you to set, playback and record various announcements and tones used by a number of the Invex components;

CallDirector Scripts - administration of CallDirector routing scripts which determine how the contact is to be routed onwards to its destination;

CallDirector Setup - administration of CallDirector variables and other items which are used by the CallDirector routing scripts;

Manage Reports - administration of the MIS displays and reports;

Notifications & Notification Rules - administration of system notifications and rules to create and manipulate business notifications that require user attention;

Scheduled Reports - administration of scheduled reports;

Scheduler - administration of scheduled tasks;

Stations - administration of station devices (telephones used by users and agents);

System Control - system manager functions to start, stop, monitor and maintain your rostrvm system;

Voice/Screen Recorders - administration of the Invex voice and screen recording components;

Telephony Properties - administration of general system settings including dial plans and external VoIP gateways;

Settings - administration of advanced system settings;

IMIchat Settings - administration of IMIchat system settings;

Install - access to the launch panels for the rostrvm client applications and installation environments;

Log Files - access to the system log and trace files on your rostrvm server;

Extracted MIS Files - access to the system extracted MIS files on your rostrvm server;

Audit Trail - this is a log of configuration changes made to the system;

Home - the default home MIS report;

Licences - licence and general information about the system.
