In order for agents to log on to a rostrvm controlled system and make and receive telephone calls, a telephone and generally a PC is required. rostrvm requires the details of these devices and as such they need to be configured in your system. Such devices are commonly referred to as Stations or Turrets.
Stations Panel
Shows a list of all configured stations.
| • | Station - the name of the station (a string of digits); |
| • | Description - provides a description of the station. This is shown on some of the MIS displays rather than the station name; |
| • | Computer/User Name - this holds a PC name (such that when a user connects to rostrvm from this PC this station is automatically associated with that user) or a user name (such that when the user logs on they will be automatically logged on to this station); |
| • | User Name - the name of the user who is currently logged on to this device. If no user is logged on then this field is blank; |
| • | Station Type - the type of Invex control to be performed on this device (one of Agent Phone - On Demand, Agent Phone - Constant, ScreenPhone). |
From here you can:
| • | Create Station - click the Create button on the Stations panel to add a new station; |
| • | Modify Station - click on the station name to view or change the properties of an existing entry. |
