Using rostrvm Manager a number of system type activities can be scheduled to occur periodically (for example every day at a particular time, every 5 minutes, etc). These activities include functions such as purging system log files, importing outbound data, and checking business alarms. The scheduling of historic Manager reports is an option on the Manager displays themselves.
Scheduler Panel
Shows a list of all configured scheduled tasks.
| • | Description - a description of the scheduled task; |
| • | Schedule - when the activity is to be scheduled; |
| • | Active - whether the scheduling is active or not. If it is not active then it will not be invoked. |
From here you can:
| • | Create Schedule - click the Create button on the Scheduler panel to add a new scheduled task; |
| • | Modify Schedule - click on the schedule description to view or change the properties of an existing entry. |
NOTE: pre-defined scheduled tasks should not be changed without consultation with Rostrvm Solutions.
