System Control can be used to look at old system log and trace files. This may be useful if a problem occurred the previous day for example, and it is necessary to look back to see if there is any indication of why it happened in yesterday's log file.
To view an old system log file
From System Control main window, click the Log Files button on the panel title bar.
This launches the Manager Log Files report in a separate tab from where the files can be viewed and edited.
