<Campaigns Report

Campaigns may be in one of the following states:

Template –  the campaign has been created and assigned a call class but has no Agent Group associated with it.  Without an Agent Group the campaign is invisible to the dialler. When an Agent Group is assigned to an unused campaign it becomes Inactive.
Active -  the campaign is currently dialling or is ready to dial as soon as any agents in the required agent group logon to rostrvm and make themselves available.
Waiting - dialling has been temporarily paused by the dialler itself awaiting the next call-back, or for new accounts to be loaded (if the campaign has been configured to "stay active" ).
Suspended - dialling has been temporarily stopped either manually by suspending the campaign or automatically when the shift ends. It can be resumed manually or it will automatically go active at the shift start time and all the accumulated real-time statistics will be retained.
Inactive - dialling has been permanently stopped and can only be started manually.  This may be as a result of the campaign being stopped manually, or being stopped automatically due to mis-configuration following an upgrade (i.e. later releases of rostrvm apply more rigorous configuration checks than some of the earlier versions).

Starting a campaign

To start a campaign when it is in the Inactive state, click on the campaign name and select Start from the drop-down menu.

Alternatively, campaigns can be automatically started at a specific time by setting a Shift Start Time on the Properties sheet.

Once a campaign has been started i.e. activated, it will automatically start dialling as soon as any agents assigned to that campaign logon to rostrvm and go into the ‘Ready’ state.

Stopping and Suspending a campaign

To stop or suspend a campaign when it is in the Active state, click on the campaign name and select Suspend or Stop from the drop-down menu.

  Manager_campaigns6

Stop should only be used if you have completely finished with the Campaign.

Alternatively, Suspend stops the software from dialling, but retains the position in the dialling list and other relevant dialling statistics. When the list is resumed, it will start from the last dialling record and will use the retained statistics.

Campaigns can also be automatically suspended at a specific time by setting a Shift End Time on the Properties sheet.

Resuming a campaign

A Suspended campaign can be resumed without loss of statistical data by clicking on the campaign name and select Resume from the drop-down menu.
