rostrvm Manager can be used to send an instant message to one or more users connected on to the system.
Send Panel
An instant message can be sent to an individual user, all users that belong to a user group, or all agents logged in to a specific agent group as follows:
| • | Where to? - either user, user group, or agent group; |
| • | Which one? - the name of the user, user group, or agent group. The drop-down list depends on the type selected above; |
| • | Message to send: - the message to send. |
Once the message is complete click the Send button to transmit the message. Once the message has been sent the results dialog is displayed.
Assuming that the destination user(s) has(have) been configured to handle instant messages it will arrive at the AdVisor client as a new message tab. Click the OK button to close the results dialog.
