Manage the properties of a specific log monitor rule.
General Tab
Details of the rule.
| • | ID - a numerical identity for the rule; |
| • | Description - a textual description for the rule; |
| • | Severity - the severity of the system notification to be used when setting the SysLog Priority Value (PRIVAL); |
| • | Message Pattern - the string to be used to compare against each system notification in order to determine a match; |
| • | Email - an email address to which to send any matched system notifications; |
| • | SysLog Host - a SysLog host to which to send any matched system notifications. |
Operations
From here you can:
| • | Save - click the Save button to apply the changes. If this is a new entry it will appear on the Notification Rules report; |
| • | Delete - click the Delete button to remove the entry. |
