rostrvm provides the ability to link client web chat sessions to the CallDirector product thus providing a script driven e-message routing capability.  The driver uses an HTTP REST interface for providing this web chat functionality.


Web Chat Routing Panel

The web chat routing point (WCP) is a rostrvm device type. It is treated similarly to a virtual routing number in as much as the driver conducts host based routing dialogs for it.

Web Chat - the name of the web chat routing point;
Description - provides a description for the routing point;
URL - a list of URL patterns used to identify which websites from which this device accepts incoming Web Chats.  An asterisk is used to represent any sequence of characters;
Web Chat Layout - the Web Chat layout to be associated with this device;
Script - the CallDirector script associated with this Web Chat routing point;
Class - the call class to be associated with the Web Chat sessions.

 

From here you can:

Create Web Chat - click the Create button on the Web Chat Routing panel to add a new entry;
Modify Web Chat - click on the Web Chat name to view or change the properties of an existing entry.

 


Web Chat Layouts Panel

Web Chat Layout - a list of the different layout templates available for your chat sessions.  Click the list name to view and edit the contents.

 

From here you can:

Modify Chat Layout - click on the Web Chat Layout name to view or change the properties of an existing entry (note to create a new entry edit an existing entry and click the Clone button).

 


Chat Blacklist Panel

Provide the ability for a manager to block a specific IP address (or range of IP addresses) from accessing the system.

Description - A textual description of the entry that is being blocked.  Click the name to view and edit the contents;
Start IP Address - The first IP address to be blocked;
End IP Address - The last IP address to be blocked (if no range has been selected this will be the same as the start);
Number of IP Addresses - the number of IP addresses to be blocked.

 

From here you can:

Create a new entry - click the Create button on the Chat Blacklist panel to add a new entry;
Modify an existing entry - click on the Description to view or change the properties of an existing entry.
