This administration page allows you to configure rostrvm for integration with an LDAP server (e.g. Active Directory). When enabled, rostrvm will accept user logons from LDAP authenticated users and will create a rostrvm user record for the user.
General Tab
Created users will be placed in a user group with the name matching the department given in their directory entry - if this field has not been set, the default user group entered below will be used.
If the department (set in Active Directory) or the Default User Group (set below) also matches an agent group, the user will be placed in that agent group.
| • | Server - the name (or IP address) of the LDAP / Active Directory authentication server; |
| • | Domain Prefix - the domain prefix to be used when searching for a user (this is normally the windows domain followed by a backslash); |
| • | Base Name - the LDAP base domain DN (e.g. if your domain is rostrvm.com then this would be DC=rostrvm,DC=com); |
| • | Default User Group (if department not set) - created users will be placed in a user group with the name matching the department given in their directory entry. If this field has not been set, the default user group entered will be used. |
