Manage the properties of third party voice recorder.  The properties are dependant on the specific type of voice recorder but generally consist of the following details.


Connection Tab

Details to determine if call recording is to be performed, and if so on which calls.

Description - arbitrary description for your voice recorder;
Host/URL - the host name, IP address, or URL required to connect to your external voice recorder;
Port/Service - the port of service required to connect to the external voice recorder;
Recorder Type - the type of interface available on your voice recorder - this information is available from your supplier.  Changing the type may change some of the fields available on the Advanced tab.

 


Data Tagging Tab

Details to identify how data collected from rostrvm is recorded on your voice recorder.

Recorder Data Field - the name of the field on the voice recorder to be populated.
Source/CLIPboard Field - the call information or CLIPboard element from which to populate the voice recorder field.

 


Advanced Tab

Identifies some specific details pertaining to your voice recorder.

Request Timeout - time to wait for the voice recorder to respond to requests before raising an alarm (default 10 seconds);
Send Agent Log an and Log off events to the recorder - flag if set will perform this function;
Do not send start/stop recording messages, only send data updates - flag if set will perform this function.
