Manage the properties of an individual email account.


General Tab

Details to uniquely identify this account.

Email Address - the email address of the account;
Description - an optional description for the account;
Initial Class - the call class to be assigned to the outgoing email.  Either select from the drop-down menu or to create a new call class enter the name.

 


Server Tab

Email account standard settings.

Login User Name / Password - the user name and password to login to the account;
POP Server and Port - the name and port number of the POP3 incoming email server.

 

From here you can:

Check - click this button to check the POP3 settings.  These invoke the Check settings dialog which is displayed whilst the checks are being made, and at the end shows the results of the checks.  Once complete the dialog can be closed by clicking the Close button.

 


Inbound Tab

Defines the properties of this account when used to handle incoming emails.

Script - the name of the CallDirector inbound routing script to be used to route inbound emails received at this account;
Debug logging - Allows the CallDirector routing script debug option to be enabled;
Queue - the rostrvm ACD queue on which to receive emails.  This is selectable from a drop-down list of all configured ACD queues.
ReceiptReply - a message with which to reply to the sender to acknowledge receipt of an email.  Leaving this blank means that no acknowledgment is returned.
ReceiptReply Template - a message template with which to reply to the sender to acknowledge receipt.  This overrides the text reply defined above.

 

Note: The Queue, ReceiptReply and ReceiptReply Template fields are only available when the default email routing script is selected.

 

From here you can:

Edit - click this button to launch CallDirector editor to edit this script;
Properties - click this button to edit the CallDirector script properties.

 


Outbound Tab

Allows the setting of which campaigns this address is to be used as the sender.

Use as sender for campaign(s) - the campaign or campaigns for which you wish to use this email as the sender.  These are set or removed by moving the campaign name between Available and Selected columns using the arrow buttons.

 


Advanced Tab

Limits and tuning options.

Archive Email Address - optional email address to which incoming emails are copied;
Maximum Simultaneous Queued Emails - number of emails to route simultaneously - this is the maximum that will show on a queue at one time.  If this is set too high it may cause system failures, a value of 500 is recommended.
Inbound Poll Interval (secs) - interval in seconds between polls of the email server for incoming emails.

 


Operations

From here you can:

Save - click the Save button to apply the changes.  If this is a new entry it will appear on the Email Accounts report;
Delete - click the Delete button to remove the entry.
